Foster Library will be sponsoring an

Early Literacy Workshop

for parents and caregivers of children ages 0-5 

Wednesday, April 30 from 6 to 8pm in the Topping Room.

This ADULTS ONLY event requires advanced registration.

Class size is limited. Sign up at the children's desk or

phone 648-2716 and ask for the children's department.

"in the open air".  Stop by the library to

see these beautiful paintings painted 

by the Sunset Middle School

art elective class.

 

Student art work will be on display at the Oak View Library until March 27.

Avenue Library Presents: Writing Essentials with Doug Taylor

Doug Taylor, author of Bogota by Bus, hosts an interactive workshop focusing on the elements of a successful novel at Avenue Library on Saturday, March 15, from 1 to 2:30pm.

 

Using his own novel as a template, Doug will cover mapping out a novel in advance, character development, creating good dialogue and the differences between action and descriptive narrative.
