Library staff will answer your research questions.
If a book you want is not available at your local library, it can be be ordered from other libraries.

Computers are available for public Internet use. Computers are filtered for use by customers under 18.
A self-serve copy machine is available. Copies are ten cents each.

Live Homework Help via the Internet in Math, Science, Social Studies and English for grades 5-12 is available:
Mondays & Tuesdays from 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Wednesdays & Thursdays from 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Saturdays from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
The Live Homework Help program is funded by a grant awarded by the California State Library with Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) funds.

Volunteer Opportunities

The Fillmore Friends of the Library group supports and benefits the Fillmore Library. The group provides activities such as used book sales and sponsorship of children's programs. Contact Library staff for more information on becoming a member of the the Fillmore Friends of the Library or e-mail the Friends at walker@thegrid.net.
Volunteers are needed to read stories to children. Call the Library for more information.
Volunteers are needed for Adult Literacy Program. For more information click here.

Collections

The Fillmore Herald from 1907 to 2000 available on microfilm. Microfilm reader available.

One month of the Ventura County Star, Los Angeles Times and the Wall Street Journal are kept.

The Library has a local history collection.

The Library has magazines, books on tape and CD, music CDs, DVDs and videos available for check-out.
