2013 Summer Reading Program - June 2 through August 31

Hey Kids and Teens!
Hungry to read? Bring your reading appetite to Ventura County Libraries and join the Summer Reading Program!
* * *
  • Starting June 2, pick up a reading log at any Ventura County Library.
    • Color a strawberry for every hour that you read or some reads to you.
    • Complete 5 hours of reading, return your log to any Ventura County Library and pick a small prize from the prize board.  
  • Turn in 1 log per week, for a maximum of 12 logs.
  • All logs will be entered into an end-of-summer drawing for a Nook HD.
  • All children & teens up through 12th grade may participate.

¡Hola Chicos!
¿Tienes hambre de leer?  ¡Trae tu apetito de lectura a Las Bibliotecas del Condada de Ventura y participle en el Programa de Lectura de Verano!

  • Colores de una fresca por cada hora que leas o alguien lea a ti.
  • Cuando has completado 5 horas de lectura, devolves este log a cualquier biblioteca del Condado de Ventura y recoges un premio pequeño.
  • Todos los logs serán introducidos en un fin de verano por un sorteo de un Nook HD.
  • Puedes convertirte en un log por semana por un máximo de 12 logs.
  • Todos los niños hasta el 12º grado pueden participar.
