Robbie Sheppard began singing at Ojai Valley School in the 1950's.  In the 80's she became a songwriter when she started her family, and discovered her husband's abandoned guitar under the bed. She has lately developed a fuller sound with the addition of John Wilson and his bass.  Robbie says “I like to share some of my own songs but we have a large repertoire of folk music and love to lead sing-along songs if the audience is so inclined.” Robbie performed at the Ojai Day of Music

“Dirk Snigby's Guide to the Afterlife” with its author E.E. King  Dirk Snigby is just your average ad man that happens to be working for the Prince of Darkness. Lucifer is tired of the overcrowding and wants a better pitch for heaven to relieve his work load. In this short story Dirk sets out to write a Zagat style guide to the afterlife. Ray Bradbury called it "Impish and delightful - a hilarious Zagat's guide to heaven."
