Mars Science Laboratory mission is part of NASA's Mars Exploration Program
- The rover named Curiousity will be landing this coming August
- It is designed to acess whether Mars ever had an environment able to sustain any form of life
- Kirk Breitenbach, a spacecraft systems who has worked at JPL will give the presentation
- He will provide an overview of this exciting mission to Mars

- Participants are asked to write brief book reviews
- Those who submit book reviews can enter a drawing for prizes
- Finale Event on August 18 will feature a prize drawing and author panel
- Prizes and finale program sponsored by the Simi Valley Friends of the Library
