This group will practice integrating the process of nonviolent communication into daily life. This series will consist of four sessions (6/25, 7/23, 8/27, & 9/24) taking place virtually via Zoom, and all are welcome. Nonviolent Communication (NVC), was started by psychologist and mediator Marshall Rosenberg, who believed it is our nature to enjoy giving and receiving in a compassionate manner. NVC begins with the assumption that we are all compassionate by nature and that violent strategies are learned behaviors taught and supported by our culture. Kamala Nellen has been practicing Nonviolent Communication for twelve years and is also a life and performance coach and published author. She has also practiced and taught yoga for 40 years. This event is free and open to the public. To register for this event, visit bit.ly/VCLNellen1.
