Are you learning English and want a chance to practice with other adults in your community? Ventura County Library invites you to join English classes held in partnership with Laubach Literacy of Ventura County to build fluency skills.
The Mobile Library will be at the Great Pacific Child Development Center Inc. (Ventura River) for staff and students!
Caregivers are invited to bring their little ones to learn through songs, rhymes, and stories.

Join us at the Ojai Library for an adorable and educational event - Paws for Reading! Every Wednesday kids can cozy up with a furry friend, Radiant the dog, and practice their reading skills.
Get creative with LEGO play every Wednesday from 2pm to 4pm at the Avenue Library. As LEGO pieces are a choking hazard, parental guidance is required for small children.

Teen volunteers (ages 13 - 17) help the Homework Center Coordinator by assisting students, K-12, with homework. Teen volunteers also assist in creating STEAM activities for the children of the community.

Paws for Reading
Join PAWS dogs for one-on-one reading sessions. Arrive at the library early to choose a book and get in line to read to a special pooch.
Children of all ages are welcome!
We will play with small pieces of fabric to explore the art of fabric marbling. This program is designed for people ages 11-19.
It's back! Chess Class for elementary and middle school children will be every Wednesday, excluding holidays, from 4:45pm to 5:45pm. Space is limited! Come sign-up at Oak Park Library. A waitlist will be available if class gets full.
