Ventura County Library offers volunteer opportunities for students ages 13-17, including those needing school community service credit.
Teen volunteers are especially needed June through August to help with the summer reading challenge.
Fill out a Ventura County Library Volunteer Application.
Turn in the completed application at the library branch location where you wish to volunteer.
Or, email the completed volunteer application to VCL.volunteer@ventura.org. (Link sends email) Include the location where you wish to volunteer in your message.

Examples of teen volunteer assignments:Help with children's programs, such as summer reading and art & science activities; Help maintain library collections; Write brief book reviews of titles from the Young Adult collection; Create suggested Young Adult reading lists using books from the library's collection.
