Learn to protect your home against the threat of wildfires! This workshop will give a brief lesson on wildfire history and behavior, focus on the steps you can take to protect your home from wildfire, and give resources available to residents throughout Ventura County for emergency preparedness.

As part of the Ventura County Library's One County, One Book community reading program, the Saticoy Library will host a discussion of Susan Orlean's The Library Book on Tuesday, October 29, 3 to 4pm.

Teens will discover the importance of budgeting and grasp its components with easy steps for creating one. Learn to distinguish needs from wants, find opportunities to cut costs, and analyze spending habits. Explore effective ways to reduce expenses, and embrace smart shopping and sustainable living to take control of your finances.
