As part of the Ventura County Library's One County, One Book community reading program, the Avenue Library will host a discussion of Susan Orlean's The Library Book on Monday, October 28, 3 to 4pm.
Author Micaela Ellis shares her story as she reviews her book, Autism Over the Years: A Twelve Year Old's Memoir.
After two decades performing for children and family audiences, Christopher knows the secret to making kids sit quietly and watch a magic show. The secret: they don’t! Children love Christopher T. Magician’s magic because his audiences never just sit and watch. His audiences are as much a part of the show as he is, constantly interacting, shouting, helping, and participating. This event is free and open to the public. Children of all ages welcome!
Summer Reading Performers
Join us for a dynamic, fun-filled show from our featured summer reading performer, Juggler David Cousin. David Cousin is a holder of 5 world records in juggling and has performed professional family-oriented comedy juggling shows throughout the world. This event is free and open to the public. Come and enjoy some fall fun at the Avenue Library with sweets and treats, Halloween cartoons, and pumpkin decorating*. The event is free and costumes are welcomed. (*Pumpkins are limited and available while supplies last.)

Summer Reading Performers
All are welcome to attend Avenue Library's Knitting Club, every Saturday morining, from 10:00am to 12:00pm. The program is free and open to the public.
